Volunteer Opportunities
We can always use volunteers who share our values and wish to serve in many ways (e.g., fundraising, committee work, office support, etc). Please click the Join Us link below to join today.
More Volunteer Opportunities!
Junco Cabin Coordinator: Check and promote sign-ups, “stock” the cabin (with basic volunteer “comforts”), be responsible for monthly Contact sheets. You can be one of the volunteers to help Jack Reichert open the cabin. He will need 2-3 volunteers to get it ready.
Fishing Line Coordinator: Arrange and promote pick-up from various white tubes for used fishing line. Plan a “cleaning” party (can also be done by individuals) to clean the line, and box up to ship to the recycle company. GCWG pays this cost. It is turned into tackle boxes! Great volunteer activity for those unable to Cabin Host or hike.
Weed Warrior leader: The invasive (especially Chamomile and Oxeye daisies) are still present at Monarch. Plan a weed warrior day/picnic at Monarch. Plan a hike with a wildflower/invasive weed specialist.
